I lost my words today.

I tried to find them everywhere

Behind the couch, under the stairs

Inside Facebook, buried in Twitter

Not anywhere virtual, it didn’t matter

Where I looked I could not find them

Nor in memories did I hide them

And so it pains to to report

My words have gone to a resort

At least that’s where I think they are

Eloped with my ideas afar.

And the other half of my vacuum cleaner.

Update: The vacuum cleaner has been found and was nowhere near a resort. Let’s hope my words come back tomorrow.
