The art of work/life balance

I tried something different recently.

Since having my first child several years ago, I’ve worked anywhere from 2 to 3 days per week instead of working full-time. I’ve tried working different days of the week. Different roles. Some days I work in the office, some days from home. Some days it works, some days it doesn’t for all kinds of reasons, too many to mention.

So a couple of weeks ago I decided to try working 3 days across 4.

So far, so good. It works for our family. Works for my job. Even frees me up to blog again.

I’m really grateful for this kind of flexibility. For all kinds of reasons, too many to mention.

This is my Day 14 entry for NaBloPoMo on the September theme of Art.
