The cost of the workshop was around $50 for a 3 hour workshop including materials, a visit to the exhibition and a day pass to the rest of Heide MOMA. The Faciliators were wonderful and I enjoyed the creative focus that is usually interrupted at home by work and family. My only regret is not booking into the subsequent workshops as they sold out quickly.
It was fun to learn a little history, discover some new mediums like quill pens and ink and sit in a lovely studio all morning :)
If you’re in Melbourne and interested in getting some inspiration…the Blackman Schoolgirls Exhibition is on show at Heide until the 18th of June and is well worth the visit. You can learn more about their upcoming events here.
