On the 15th of Frocktober I wore two frocks. Back to back. Saturday, you see.
A daytime repeat worn for Saturday sunshine. Housework. Playground. River. Rest before a big fundraising night.
I didn’t manage to get a good photo of my Saturday Night party frock, my red shoes, or even photos of the fundraising night itself.
But we danced, we bidded and we raised funds for a new playground.
On the 16th of Frocktober some sweet black pleats came out. It was Sunday, after all.
On the 17th of Frocktober the other mums realised I was dressing up for a reason and one of the mums gave me a $10 donation at school pickup
On the 18th of Frocktober red parasols and vintage silver made their merry way out of the depths of the storage. I nearly gave this wrap skirt away last summer, but thought it might come in handy for the beach. I know – red and silver – it’s a bit Christmassy already. I blame the supermarkets.
Did I mention every donation I receive always comes as a surprise? Another person gave $30 today. I’m always blown away by the generosity of friends and strangers.
Now let’s see if I can get back to daily blogging for the rest of the month! Only 13 frocks to go….all for a good cause.

I’m wearing dresses this month for Frocktober, to help raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Research. Enjoying these posts? You can donate here before October 31st.
