Write each day for a month about frocks, instead of whatever you were writing about before, and you’ll discover two things.
One. It’s easier to write when you write every day.
Two. Words come out differently, when you’re writing about polkadots and patterns, hemlines and fabrics.
Disclaimer: I don’t buy fashion magazines, although I did enjoy reading my flatmate’s French Vogue collection in the early ’90s. I don’t know what current fashion trends are. But I do appreciate the art of wearing clothes well and trying new looks. And yes, this is this is the second time I’ve worn this dress for Frocktober. The honest truth is, the vintage dress I was hoping to wear today doesn’t quite fit the way it used to.
I’m wearing dresses this month for Frocktober, to help raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Research. Enjoying these posts? You can donate here before October 31st.
